Never heard of a Degree Apprenticeship?
It’s okay – lots of people haven’t! Degree Apprenticeships are a new initiative that offer an alternative (and very attractive) route through higher education.
They offer a university course in partnership with employers so the course will be split between the university and the work place.
You’ll graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and with a job more-or-less guaranteed at the end of the course.
Learn & Earn!
Two thirds of tuition fees are paid by the government with the remainder paid by your employer so you do NOT have to pay any tuition fees at all! You’ll be responsible for your maintenance & living costs but will be earning about £15,000 a year, increasing as the course progresses.
One of the Degree Apprenticeship’s key benefits is that you don’t graduate with a large debt.
There are currently 26 universities available to study degree apprenticeships in different regions of the UK, and the number will be increasing in the coming years.
On average, you will spend 30 hours a week, 30 weeks a year in the workplace.
What sorts of courses are available to me?
