YOUNG ART – enjoy art whilst helping others

What:

  • A national art competition for school students with an enthusiasm for art and drawing.
  • Young art is a competition for young people in aid of cancer research, each entry pays £2.
  • There a few simple rules that may vary form year to year but primarily the materials you can use are oil, watercolour, acrylic, pastel, crayon, pencil or ink – no computer generated art and no writing on the picture.

When:

  • The 2019 submission date has now closed but don’t worry dates will be similar come 2020 (Friday 25 January 2019 was the previous deadline date) – but double check for updates on the website.

How:

  • Once you have created your art for the category you have chosen ( Art Competition, Drawing Competition or Printmaking
    Competition) clearly label your work on the back with: name, year group, school and the competition you are entering in BLOCK CAPITALS.
