PDSA (The People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals) is the UK’s leading veterinary charity – treating sick and injured pets. PDSA cares for the pets of people who can’t afford private vet services.
The great news is, volunteers at PDSA can start at 14 years old. So if you’re passionate about animals, you can make a difference by donating your time.
Not only will you be helping pets and their owners but you’ll also get to meet people of all ages and gain invaluable skills.
PDSA offers school work experience in its shops and offices too. Just fill out the Volunteer Enquiry Form to find out more.
PDSA is an Approved Activity Provider for the DofE (Duke of Edinburgh’s Award). This means that PDSA provides great volunteering experiences that you can use towards the volunteering section of your DofE award.
